Our Story and Our Work
From One Vision to Thousands of Lives Changed
Founded in 1994 by a group of socially committed individuals, RIDO began as a modest initiative with a powerful dream—to ensure that no rural citizen in Annamayya District is left without support. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a vibrant organization with programs spanning health, education, livelihood, and care. Our grassroots approach and deep community relationships allow us to respond to real needs with real solutions. We believe development is not about charity—it’s about justice. We welcome you to be a part of our mission.

Our Programs
Sankalpa Kids Centers
Shaping Young Minds Beyond the Classroom
These centers provide children with learning support, creativity workshops, and moral education in a nurturing environment after school. Designed to bridge academic gaps, these centers help rural children dream beyond boundaries.
Women SHG Development
Empowering Women Through Collectives
We support women in forming and managing Self-Help Groups (SHGs), offering them access to credit, training, and decision-making spaces. These collectives spark community development through female-led leadership.
Mobile Health Clinics
Healing on Wheels for the Rural Poor
Our mobile health units bring vital medical services to remote villages. Staffed with doctors and equipped with essential medicines, these clinics are often the only healthcare source in neglected areas.
Geriatric Care Homes
Comfort, Care, and Community for Elders
We operate homes where elderly individuals receive comprehensive support—from meals and medication to mental well-being and companionship—ensuring a graceful life after retirement.
Disability Empowerment Program
From Marginalization to Mainstream Inclusion
We provide skill-building workshops, legal aid, and mobility aids for people with disabilities, helping them participate in society with pride and autonomy.
Youth Skill Development
Creating Opportunities for the Next Generation
Our vocational training programs in tailoring, computer literacy, and mobile servicing equip rural youth with job-ready skills. We help young people gain confidence, income, and purpose.

Honoring Our Elders with Compassionate Support
RIDO provides comprehensive care to the elderly, including shelter, food, healthcare, and emotional support through our old-age homes and daycare centers. Our facilities are more than just a roof—they are communities where seniors are respected, loved, and given the opportunity to age with dignity.
Women Empowerment Programs
Uplifting Women as Agents of Change
We support women through vocational training, financial literacy, entrepreneurship programs, and self-help groups. Our goal is to transform passive recipients into proactive contributors, making rural women central to community growth and economic resilience.
Education and Child Support
Educating the Future, One Child at a Time
We run Sankalpa Kids Innovative Centers to provide after-school learning support. Our programs address literacy, numeracy, creative thinking, and values-based education, especially for underprivileged children who lack access to quality education.
Disability Inclusion Programs
Empowering the Differently-Abled to Thrive
Our interventions for disabled individuals include skill training, rehabilitation services, and rights advocacy. We work to ensure every person has access to tools that help them lead independent, fulfilling lives.
Healthcare Outreach
Bringing Medical Relief to Rural Frontiers
We organize medical camps, health awareness sessions, and community health programs to reach the unreached. Our initiatives cover maternal health, child immunization, non-communicable disease awareness, and mental health support.
Sustainable Agriculture and Livelihoods
Farming for the Future, Sustaining Rural Economies
We introduce farmers to organic practices, water conservation methods, and better market linkages. Our livelihood projects also include small-scale enterprises in tailoring, dairy, and eco-crafts, ensuring families have stable income sources.
